2 ( l + b ) = 100cm [ 1m]

let the length = x

the breadth = y

x = ( y + 5 ) cm.......... {1}

2 ( l + b ) = 100

( l + b ) = 50

( y + 5 + y ) = 50

( 2y + 5 ) = 50

( 2y ) = 50 - 5

2y = 45

y = 22.5 cm

PUTTING THE VALUE OF y IN EQUATION 1.

x = ( 22.5 + 5 )

x = 27.5 cm

NOW YOU CAN EASILY CONVERT IN METERS.
