in a rectangle one side is 14cm longer than the other .perimeter of the rectangke is 3m .

a) take breadth as x and find length?
b)write the equation?

so 3m = 300cm

we know that perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l+b)

300cm= 2 (x+14 +x) cm

300 cm = 2(2x+14) cm

300cm = 4x+ 28 çm

(300-28) cm =4x

272cm/4=x

68cm=x

  2. 300cm= 2(x+x+14)
