Let Breadth of Rectangle of be x cm

Then : Length = x + 10 cm

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L + B)

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(x + 10 + x)

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(2x + 10)

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangle = 4x + 20

Given Perimeter of Rectangle = 60 cm

⇒ 60 cm = 4x + 20

⇒ 60 cm - 20 = 4x

⇒ 40 cm = 4x

⇒ 40 cm/4 = x

⇒ 10 cm = x

So

  • Length of Rectangle = x + 10 = 10 + 10 = 20 cm
  • Breadth of Rectangle = x = 10 cm
