Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth be x

Length=7/5 *x=7x/5

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=2(7x/5+x)

given,perimeter=48cms

2(7x/5+x)=48

7x/5+x=48/2=24

(7x+5x)/5=24

12x/5=24

x=24 *5/12

x=10cms i.e., breadth=10cms

length=7*x/5=7*10/5=14 cms

HEY FRIEND......

Ratio of the length to breadth = 7:5

let length and breadth be 7x and 5x respectively

length = 14 cm

7x = 14

x = 2....

breadth = 5x

x = 2

5x = 5*2 = 10 cm

there fore the breadth is 10 cm

HOPE IT HELPS YOU......
