Answer:

Area of field that no cow graze is 68.48 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Dimensions of Rectangular field, Length = 15 m and Breadth = 8 m

Length of the rope = 3 m

To find: Area of field none cow graze.

Rectangle has four right angle at corner. ⇒ 4 Quadrant at corners.

So, There are four quadrant in 4 corner and 1 complete circle at center.

We know that combining 4 quadrant we have a complete circle.

⇒ We have area of 2 complete circle of equal radius which cow graze.

So, Area of field left that none graze = Area of rectangle - 2 × Area of circle

                                            = length × breadth - 2× πr²

                                            = 15 × 8 - 2× 3.14 × 3²

                                            = 120 - 2 × 28.26

                                            = 120 - 56.52

                                            = 63.48 m²

Therefore, Area of field that no cow graze is 68.48 m²

Answer:

63.48

Step-by-step explanation:

area of ungazed field= length * breadth - 2 * area of a circle

                                   = 15 * 8 - 2 * 3.14 * 3 * 3

                                   =120 - 2 * 28.26

                                   =63.48m^2
