Given:-

To Find:-

The amount spent by him  to make the lawn.

Solution:-

Area of the rectangular plot = length x breadth = (12 x 8) = 96 m²

Area of the swimming pool = side x side  = (4 x 4) = 16 m²

Area left for the grass lawn  = (96 - 16) = 80 m²

Total cost of planting  = Area of the lawn x Amount spent per m² = (80 x 150) = Rs 12000

Hence, the amount spent on making the lawn is Rs 12,000
