because side AB and DE are parellel to X-axis so, slope of these line equal slope of X-axis but slope of X-axis is zero. hence slope of AB and DE are zero .

Answer:

The slope of its sides is √3 and - √3. Slope to the x-axis is zero.

Explanation:

  • In a regular hexagon, ABCDEF, all the angles are 60 degrees.
  • We can find the slopes of the hexagon by the trigonometric method.
  • As we know that
  • The slope of BC=  tan (60°)
  • tan (60°) = √3
  • Now
  • BC=  tan (60°) = √3 = slope of EF
  • Similarly,
  • The slope of DC = tan (120°) = -  √3 = Slope of AF
