In a rhombus ABCD, AB= 5x - 1, BC = 2x + 5, angle A = ( y-30) and angle B = (150+2y). Find the value of x and y

Answer:

For rhombus ABCD,

AB =BC ------->sides are equal.

or, 5x-1 = 2x + 5

or, 3x = 6

---> x =2

Now,

y +  30 = 150 - 2y---> opposite angles of rhombus are equal.

or, 3y = 150-30

or, 3y =120

---> y = 40
