side of the rhombus is 10cm and length of one of the diagonal of the rhombus is 12cm.
by Pythagoras thereom, we will find the half of the diagonal.
let hypontuse be 10cm and base of the right angle triangle in the rhombus be = 12/2 = 6cm
=> a²+b² = c²
=> 6²+b² = 10²
=> 36+b² = 100
=> b² = 100-36
=> b² = 64
=> b = √64
=> b = 8cm
hence half Length of the diagonal is 8cm.
therefore length of the diagonal = 8×2
= 16cm
