O be the point of intersection of the two diagonals

d¹ = 12 cm

d² = ???

As, diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other, so d¹ = 6+6

Now,

Using Pythagoras Theorem in any of the four triangles so formed,

h² = b²+p²

10² = 6²+p²

100 = 36+p²

100-36 = p²

64 = p²

√64 = p

8 cm = p

Here, we had found the half of the second diagonal

So,

Length of second diagonal = 2×p = 2×8 = 16 cm
