In a rhombus PQ, PR and QS are diagonals. If PR= 24cm and QS=18cm, find the length of the side of the rhombus​

Let the point of intersection of the diagonals of the rhombus be denoted by the point O

PO = PR / 2 = 12cm

QO = QS / 2 = 9cm

PQ = \sqrt{PO^{2}  + OQ^{2} }  = \sqrt{12^{2} + 9^{2}  }

      =\sqrt{144 + 81}  = \sqrt{225}

      = 15 cm

Therefore, side = 15 cm.
