 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4x \times 5x = 490 \\ 10 {x}^{2}  = 490 \\  {x}^{2}  = 49 \\ x =  \sqrt{49 }  = 7

therefore length of smaller diagonal=4x= 28 cm
