in a rhombus whose area is 14 cm square one of its diagonals is twice as long as the other find the length of its diagonals?

Answer:

Area of a rhombus= 21×Product of its diagonals

Area of a rhombus= 21×d 1×d 2where d 1

=30cm

⇒150= 21×30×d 2

⇒d 2

= 302×150

=10cm

∴ the other diagonal=10cm
