In a right angle ABC, angle B=90 degree.if ab=6cm,BC=8cm then find AC.

In right angled triangle ABC,
(AB)² + (BC)² = (AC)² (Pythagoras theorem)
6² + 8² = (AC)²
36 + 64 = (AC)²
100 = (AC)²
AC = √(100)
AC = 10cm

By Pythagorean theorem.

(AC)²=(AB) ²+(BC)²

=(6)²+(8)²

=36+64

=100

(AC)²=100

AC=10
