In a right angle triangle ABC, the lengths of legs one is given. Find the length of hypotenuse : (a) a = 2.5 cm, b = 6 cm.

Length of side 'a' = 2.5 cm

Length of side 'b' = 6cm

By using Pythagoras theorem,

AB² + BC² = AC²

(2.5)² + (6)² = AC²

6.25 + 36 = AC²

42.25 = AC²

AC = 42.25

AC = 6.5

.°. Hypotenuse of right angle triangle ABC = 6.5 cm
