Given:-

  • Base ,b = 5 cm

  • Perpendicular ,p = 3 cm

To Find:-

  • Length of Hypotenuse ,h

Solution:-

we have to calculate the length of hypotenuse of the right angle triangle.

Using Pythagoras Theorem

= +

where,

h denotes hypotenuse

p denotes perpendicular

b denotes base

Substitute the value we get

→ h² = 5² + 3²

→ h² = 25 + 9

→ h² = 36

→ h =√36

→ h = 6 cm

Therefore,the length of the hypotenuse is 6 cm.

Answer:

Given :-

  • Base of triangle = 5 cm
  • Perpendicular of triangle = 3 cm

To Find :-

Length of Hypotenuse

Solution :-

As we know that

 \huge \mathfrak {h {}^{2}  =  {b}^{2} +  {p}^{2}   }

Here,

H = Hypotenuse

B = Base

P = Perpendicular

 \sf \:  {h}^{2}  =  {5}^{2}  +  {3}^{2}

 \sf \:  {h}^{2}  = 25 + 9

 \sf \:  {h}^{2}  = 34

 \sf \: h =  \sqrt{34}

 \sf \: h \:   \approx \: 5.83 \: cm

Hence,

The Hypotenuse of triangle is 5.83 cm
