hypotenuse = 12+x
other side = 12 +x -6
=6+x
then,
144 +x^2=x^2 + 36 +x^2
144 -36 = 2x ^2 - x ^2
108 = x^2
√108 =x
10.3 =x
shortest side=10.3
hypotenuse =12 + 10.3
=22.3
other side= 6+10.3
=16.3
