In a right angle triangle, length of hypotenuse is 12cm more than its shortest side. the length of other side is 6cm less than the hypotenuse then find the sides of right angle triangle.

Answer:

shortest side be x

hypotenuse = 12+x

other side = 12 +x -6

=6+x

then,

144 +x^2=x^2 + 36 +x^2

144 -36 = 2x ^2 - x ^2

108 = x^2

√108 =x

10.3 =x

shortest side=10.3

hypotenuse =12 + 10.3

=22.3

other side= 6+10.3

=16.3
