In a right angle triangle, length of the hypotenuse is 8 cm more than its shortest side. The length of the other side is 1 cm Less than the hypotenuse, then find the sides of right angle triangle.​

Let the shortest side be 'x' cm

hypotenuse = x+8 cm

other side = x+8-1

= x+7 cm

By pythagoras theorem

(x+8)²= x²+(x+7)²

x = 3cm

The sides are 3cm,10cm and 11cm.
