In a right angled triangle ABC ,ab is perpendicular to BC and angleC= 50°. Find the measure of the third angle.​

Answer:

angle B is 90° and angle C is 50° so

angle B=angle C +angle A

90=40+angle A

angle A=90-40

angle A=50

The measure of third angle.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given that,

AB ⏊ BC

So,

∠B = 90°

And,

∠C = 50° (Given)

We know that Sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180°

Therefore,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

Putting the values of angles;

90 + ∠B + 50° = 180

∠B + 140° = 180°

∠B = 180-140 = 40°

Hence, The measure of ∠B is 40°
