In a right angled triangle, find the length of the hypotenuse, if the other two sides measure 7 cm and 24 cm.

In the above question, it is given that,

One side of a triangle is 7cm  

The other side of a triangle is 24cm

Here we have to find the hypotenuse side of the right angle triangle.

We have to use the formula of the hypotenuse,

Thus. The square of hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of the square of length and height.

H^{2} =7^{2} +24^{2} \\=49+576\\=625

Now taking the roots for both sides we get,

H=\sqrt{625} \\H=25cm

Hence the length of the hypotenuse side is 25cm.
