Using Pythagoras' theorem, a² + b² = c²
Find x:
a² + b² = c²
(4x)² + (3x)² = 20²
16x² + 9x² = 400
25x² = 400
x² = 16
x = √16
x = 4
Find the sides:
3x = 4 x 3 = 12 cm
4x = 4 x 4 = 16 cm
Answer: The two sides are 12cm and 16cm

Good morning dear....
That's nice question.....
here's answer..
Let the base and perpendicular be x respectively.
Give it's hypotenuse =20 cm
let base be 4x and perpendicular be 3x
By using Pythagoras theorem....
(P)2 + (B)2 = (H) 2
(4x)²+(3x)²=(20)²
25x =400
x =400/25
x=16
base be 4×16= 64cm
perpendicular be 3×16=48cm
Hope it will help u
