Given:

❂in a right- angled triangle

  • base = 15cm
  • hypotenuse =25cm

\\

\rule{300}{2}

To Find :

  • the hieght of the triangle

\\\rule{300}{2}

Solution:

✦ Now, here it is given that it is a right angled triangle and that the base is 15 m and the hieght is 25m so, here we use the phtogoras therom

which states:

Pythagoras theorem states that “In a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides“. The sides of this triangle have been named as Perpendicular, Base and Hypotenuse. Here, the hypotenuse is the longest side, as it is opposite to the angle 90°.

Now, we apply the formula:

\longrightarrow{\blue{\underline{\boxed{\mathfrak{hypotenuse^{2}=base^{2} +hieght^{2} }}}}}\bigstar

now let's substitute the values :

\longrightarrow \sf hypotenuse ^{2} =base^{2} +hieght^{2} \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf 25^{2} =15^{2}+h^{2}  \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf 625=225+h^{2} \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf  h^{2} =625-225\\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf h^{2} =400 \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf  h= \sqrt{400} \\ \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf h=20\bigstar

\orange{\underline{\boxed{\sf{\therefore\: the\:  hieght\:  of \: the \: triangle\:  is \: 20cm}}}}
