in a right angled triangle isosceles triangle , the square of the hypotenuse is 200 sq.m. find the perimeter of the triangle.​

For a right angled isosceles triangle, length of base and height should be equal.

Let Base =Height= x

Given : Hypotenuse²=200m²

Now, using Pythagoras Theorem,

Hypotenuse² = Height ² + base2

= 200 = x² + x²

=200 = 2x²

= x²= 100

=x= √100

=x=10

i.e., Base=10m

Height = 10m

Hypotenuse = √200m²

=10√2m

=10×1.414m

= 14.14m

Now, perimeter of triangle

= sum of its sides

=10m+10m+14.14m

=34.14 m
