Answer:

Let's take

H-10cm

P-6cm

B-?

Phyta-H^2=p^2+b^2

(10)^2=(6)^2+b^2

100=36+b^2

100-36=b^2

64=b^2

b^2=64

b=root64

b=root4×4×4

b=4×2

b=8

so the other side length is 8 cm

Answer:

According to pythogoras theorem

 {h}^{2}  =  \:  {p}^{2}  \:  +  \:  {b}^{2}

 {10 \:}^{2}  \:  =  \:  {6 \:  }^{2}  \:  +  \:  {b}^{2}

100 \:  =  \: 36 \:  +  \:  {b}^{2}

 {b \:}^{2}  \: =  100 -  36

 {b }^{2}  \:  =  \: 64

b \:  =  \:  \sqrt{64}

b =  \: 8cm

Hence the other side of the right angled triangle

= 8 cm
