In a right angled triangle the length of theone side containing the right angle is greater than twice the length if the other by 4cm.the area of the the triangle is 80 centimetre square. Find the lengths of the sides containing the right angle.

on putting the value we get,

=>1/2*x*(2x+4)=80

=>2xsquare +4x-160=0

=>2(xsquare+2x-80)=0

=>xsquare+2x-80=0
