(base)²+(perpendicular)²=(hypotenuse)²
24²+perpendicular²=26²
(Perpendicular) ²=676-576
(Perpendicular) ²=100
Perpendicular = 10cm

Let the measurement of perpendicular be x
,therefore according to question the equation formed will be =26cm^2=24cm^2+x cm^2
26cm^2=676cm and 24cm^2=576
676 cm=576 cm +x squared
Therefore x = 676cm^2-576cm^2=100cm^2= 10cm Answer
