Question :- In a right-angled triangle, with right if AB = 6 units, BC = 8 units then AC = 10 units, then the right angle is at ?

Solution :-

given that,

  • AB = 6 units.
  • BC = 8 units.
  • AC = 10 units.
  • ∆ABC is a right angled ∆ .

so,

→ (Perpendicular)² + (Base)² = (Hypotenuse)²

→ 6² + 8² = 10²

→ 36 + 64 = 100

→ 100 = 100 .

now, we know that,

  • Angle opposite to hypotenuse is equal to 90° .

we can conclude that, AC is the hypotenuse of the right angled ∆ABC .

therefore, right angle is at vertex B.
