In a right triangle ABC,angle B=90degree
If AC=13cm,BC=5cm,find AB

BC = 5cm

Now,

 {(Hypotenuse side)}^2= {(Perpendicular)}^2 + {(base)}^2

 (AC)^2 = (AB)^2 + (BC)^2

 {13}^2 = ( AB)^2  + ( 5) ^2

 169 = (AB)^2 + 25

 169 - 25 = ( AB)^2

 144 = (AB)^2

\sqrt {144}

➡ 12 cm
