Given : In a right triangle ABC angle C = 65 degree, AB= 5cm

To Find : length of side BC

Solution:

In a right triangle ABC  ∠C = 65°

Assuming right angle at B

Cos ∠C =  BC /AB

BC = ?

AB = 5

Cos65° = BC/5

=> BC = 5Cos65°

=> BC = 5(0.42262)

=> BC = 2.1131 cm

Assuming right angle at A

Sin ∠C =  AB /BC

BC = ?

AB = 5

Sin 65° = 5/BC

=> BC = 5/Sin65°

=> BC = 5.5169 cm

HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:- ABC is a right triangle , ∠C = 65° and AB = 5cm.

To find the lenght of side BC.

SOLUTION:- Let right angle at B.

And AB= 5 cm ( given)

So, tan65° = AB/BC

⇒ BC= AB/ tan65°

⇒ BC= 5/2.14450692

⇒ BC= 2.33153829

Therefore lenght of BC= 2.33153829

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
