Hello, Buddy!!

Given:-

  • ABC is a Right Angled Triangle in which ∠B = 90°
  • Length of AB = 6cm
  • Length of BC = 8cm

To Find:-

  • Length of AC.

Required Solution:-

Let,

Length of AC is x

WKT, By Pythagoras Theorem

  • [Hypothenuse]² = (Side)²+(Side)²

→ (AC)² = (AB)²+(BC)²

→ (x)² = (6)²+(8)²

→ (x)² = 36+64

→ x = √(100)

→ x = √(10)²

Root & Square will get cancelled

→ x = 10

  • Length of AC ☞ 10cm

Hypothenuse:- The longest line of a right angle triangle that is opposite to 90°.
