Answer;

10cm

-------------------------------------------------------

Given

Length of AB = 6cm

Length of BC = 8cm and

Right angled at B

------------------------------------------------------

We have to find

The length of side AC

-----------------------------------------------------

See the attachment

According to Pythagoras theorem Addition of square of side AB and BC will equal to Square of third side AC that is

 {(AB)}^{2}  +  {(BC)}^{2}  =  {(AC)}^{2}

On Putting Values

  =  > {8}^{2}  +  {6}^{2}  =  {(AC)}^{2}  \\  =  > 64 + 36 =  {(AC)}^{2}  \\  =  > 100 =  {(AC)}^{2}

On Removing Square

 =  > AC =  \sqrt{100}  \\  =  >  \huge \boxed{AC = 10cm}

Therefore;

Length of the side AC will be 10cm.

Answer:

10cm

Step-by-step explanation:
