This is a right angled triangle or 90 degrees angle .So,

we will use Pythagoras Thereom here.

According to Pythagoras Thereom,

=AB²+ BC² =AC²

=14²+ 48² =AC²

=196+2304=AC²

=2500 =AC²

So, to find out AC,

We will have to take out square root of 2500,

So, 50 cm= AC

Therefore,AC=50cm.

I hope this helps you
