Here, two sides are given - 15cm & 9cm.

To find the perimeter we require the third side of the triangle.

Let the third side be x

By Pythagoras theorem,

=> 15² = 9² + x²

=> 225 = 81 + x²

=> 225 - 81 = x²

=> 144 = x²

=> √144 = x

=> 12 = x

The third side is 12cm.

We know that,

Perimeter of a triangle = sum of all sides

=> 15 + 9 + 12

=> 36cm.
