Answer:warm air rises while cool air sinks

Explanation:When air is heated, its mass remains the same but volume increases hence the density decreases (density=mass/volume). The density of the heated air is less than the cool air in the surrounding so it rises that is why heaters are placed on the floor so that the warm air from the heater rises and spreads in the room. If the heater is placed on the top, the warm air will float on the top.

Cool air sinks because it is denser than the warm air in the surrounding so air conditioners are on the top. If they are placed at the bottom the cool air will be only on the floor not in the whole room.
