To Find :-

• How far is Satish from the left end of the row ?

Solution :-

→ Ajay from right = 18th

and,

→ Satish = 8th to the right of Ajay .

then,

→ Satish Position from right = Ajay Position from right - 8 = 18 - 8 = 10 .

therefore,

→ Satish Postion from Left = (Total children in row + 1) - Satish Position from right = (40 + 1) - 10 = 41 - 10 = 31 (Ans.)

Hence, Satish is 31 from the left end of the row.
