In a row of 50 girls, Seema was made to sit 20 places to the right of Renu and
Kunj sat 20 places to the left of Vinita. If Vinita was thirty-sixth from the left and
there were four people between Kunj and Seema, then what was the position of
Renu in the row?​

26 is the position of Renu in the row.

• Seema and Reema are ninth from right and tenth from left respectively.
• After interchanging their positions, Seema and Reema are 17 th from right and 18 th from left respectively.
• To obtain 17 th place, Seema have to shift 8 places ahead.
• Now as she in place of Reema and Reema was 10th from left, so now Seema will be 10th from left.
• Thus, there are 9 people to the left and 16 people to the right of Seema.

So, total no. of girls.

=9+16+1

=26.

Hence, 26 is  the position of Renu in the row.
