Solution,

Position of Aditya from right end before  exchange = 31

∴ There are 30 members after Aditya.

Position of Laxman from left end after exchange( that is in place of Aditya) = 43.

Total members in the row =  43+ 30 = 73.

∴ There are 28 members before Laxman.
