There are 47 girls in the row.

Given;

In a row of girls Bhoomika is 22nd from the left and Anuska is 19th from the right. If they interchange their positions, Bhoomika becomes 29th from the left.

To find:

How many girls are there in the row.?

Solution:

It is known that Anuska is 19th from the right and when Bhumika is kept at her place, she is 29th from left.

So, we have both left and right positions for one point and that is where Anuska was first time.

So, we will apply the formula of girls in row = position from right side + position from left side - 1

This 1 has been subtracted to exclude one time the position of that person

Girls in row = 19 + 29 -1

= 47.

Hence, there are 47 girls in the row.

Answer:

The answer to the given question is several girls in a given row are 47.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

In a row of girls

Bhoomika is 22 nd from the left.

Anushka is 19 th from the right.

After interchanging their positions,

boomika becomes 29 th from left.

To find :

we have to find the number of girls in a row.

Solution :

As per the given data, Bhoomika is at 22 nd and Anushka is at 19 th.

After interchanging, when bhoomika is kept at Anushka's place, she is 29 th from the left.

Therefore, the left and the right positions for one point that is for bhoomika where Anushka was first-time.

To find the number of girls in a row =

position from right+position from left -1.

The -1 resembles the same person taking the two positions.

on substituting the values we get the answers as.

19 + 29 - 1 = 47

Therefore, the final answer to the given question is several girls in a given row is 47.
