On interchanging their positions, Rupa is 15th from the right

To find:

Subha's final position from the left

Solution:

Position of Subha from the left= 10th

So, number of people to the left of Subha= 9

The same position, when counted from the right= 15th

So, the number of people to the right of this position= 14

So, the total people present in the row= 9+14+1 = 24

Now, Rupa's position from the right= 11th

So, her position from the left= 24-11+ 1 = 14

So, on interchanging the positions, Subha is 14th from the left.
