count from left A is at 9 th position c is in middle and 15 th position there is 6 number gap between A and C so there will be 6 gap between C and B so that it is in middle position

1,2 3,4,5,6,7,8,A,10,11,12,13,14,C,16,17

,18,19,20,B,22 23,24,25,26,27,28

Given: In a row of persons, position of A from left side of the row is 9th & position of B from right side of the row is 8th.If C is sitting just in middle of A & B and position of C from left side of the row is 15th.

To find: The total no. of persons in the row.

Solution:

The position of A from the left side of the row is 9th and the position of C from the left side of the row is 15th. So there are 4 persons between A and C. C is exactly between A and B so there must be 4 people between B and C as well. This means that B is at the 20th position from the left side of the row.

Now, it is given that the position of B from the right side of the row is 8th. Thus, there are 7 more people after B till the end of the row. So the total number of people is

20 + 7 = 27

Therefore, the total no. of persons in the row is 27.
