In a running race, 15 participants were able to complete the race and the others didn't complete. You chose a person randomly from the participants. If probability that the chosen person completed the race is 0.6 then find the total number of participants.

Answer:

0.6= 15/number of participants

number of participants=15/0.6

=25

So the number of students who took part in the race were 25 out of which only 15 were able to complete the rase and the rest 10 were not able to do the same.
