In a sale a department store took 15% off its normal prices.
On 'Green Label Day' it took 50% of its sale prices
Ali says "thats mean there was 65% off its normal prices"

After price drop on sale, price of item is 85% of original

then on Green label day, 50% of sale prices would take it to 50% of 85% = 42.5%, which is 57.7% of original price
