In a school 10% of the boys are same in number as 1/4 of the girls . what is the ratio of boys to girls in that school .

Let No. of boys be x and No. of girls be y

We have, x*10/100 = y/4
         so, x/10 = y/4
               so, x/y = 10/4 = 5/2 so ratio is 5:2
