in a school 108, 162 and 270 students of classes 6, 7 and 8,respectively,are going for a picnic.if each bus has to carry largest but equal number of students from each class, find out the number of buses required.

here remainder=108
now,162=(108×1)+54
here remainder=54
Now,108=(54×2)+0
here remainder=0
hence, the minimum no. of buses=
270/54+162/54+108/54
=5+3+2=10
So the minimum number of buses is 10
