Let the total number of students be x
Then total number of girls will be 3/5x
Number of boys = 200
Total number of students in the school = Number of boys + Number of girls
x = 200 + 3/5x
x - 3/5x = 200
(5x - 3x)/5 = 200
2/5x = 200
x = 500

Therefore there are 500 students in the school.
