let total students = x AND BOYS =2000 GIVEN ALSO GILS ARE 3/5 OF TOTAL SO GIRLS =3/5X
NOW NO GIRLS + NO OF boys = total
=3/5x+200=x
=200=x-3/5x
=2x/5=200
=2x=1000
=x=500 this is your answer
