Hey friend, here is your answer ☺ ___________________________
Let the total number of students be x.
Now, it is given that 4/9 of the students are boys = no. of boys = 4/9 × x = 4x/9
Also, no. girls + no. of boys = total students
no. of girls + 4x/9 = x
no. of girls = x - 4x/9
no. of girls = 5x/9
now it is given that total numbers of girls are 775.
therefore, 775 = 5x /9
x = (775 × 9)/5 = 1395
total students = 1395
now no. of boys = total students - no. of girls
= 1395 - 775 = 620 .

The total number of boys is 620.
