No.of boys are 5/8X
No.of girls are X–5/8X
=3/8X
Today no.of girls who are present =3/8X^8/9
=1/3X
Remaining girls are = 3/8X–1/3X =10
=>X/24. =10
=>X. =10^24
=>X. =240
Therefore,the total number of boys are
240^5/8
=150.
