in a school 5\8 of the students were girls. If the number of girls is 120 more than that of the boys, what is the strength of the school? how many boys are there?

let total students be x and boys be y
5x/8=x-120
5x=8x-960
3x=960
x=320
Total students=320=y+y+120
y=200/2=100
No. of boys=100
