According to question

Total Number of colours of flags alloted to each house = 5

Number of blocks of different colours alloted to tagore house = 3 blocks

Thus Number of Flags they chose = 5C3  = 5*4 = 20 Flags

Thus 20 flags are chosen by them

Answer:  60

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : In a school 5 colors are allotted to each house.

If the flag of Tagore house has to be a sequence of three blocks of different colors, then the number of they can choose from is given by Permutations:-

^5P_3=\dfrac{5!}{(5-3)!}\\\\=\dfrac{5\times4\times3\times2!}{2!}=60

Hence, the number of they can choose from is given by Permutations = 60
